(June 2020)

Troop 100 Indoor Health Guidelines (COVID-19)

Social indoor gathering of no more than 50 people

Troop 100 will practice the following at indoor events:

  • When arriving at an event everyone will be asked if they have had any cold or flu symptoms within the last 48hr.  Positive answers will prevent the person from attending.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available and will be used upon entry and exit.

  • Individuals will be physically distant from others—at least 6 feet (about 2 arm’s length) from other people.

  • Participants may be asked to bring their own chairs.  If not, the chairs provided will be wiped down with sanitizing wipes prior to and after the event.  No chairs may be shared.

  • Chairs must be placed 6 ft apart (by family).  Individuals not sitting will stand at least 6 feet apart.

  • Everyone will be required to wear face coverings unless speaking in the front of the assembly.

  • Equipment, such as flag poles and tables, will be wiped down with sanitizing wipes prior to and after the event.

  • For Courts of Honor, awards given to the Scouts will be individually packaged, and left on the table for them to pick up one by one.

  • A microphone or loudspeaker will not be used, and any skits will be performed while practicing socially distant guidelines.

  • Snacks must be individually packaged.
