February 21, 2024: With a Solar Eclipse happening in April, our Scouts built Viewers with the help of Scoutmaster Sam and other leaders of the Troop. A Solar Eclipse happens when the moon passes between the Sun and the Earth. The eclipse should never be viewed with the naked eye or through unfiltered devices such as binoculars, as it can cause permanent eye damage or blindness. That’s why our Scouts built solar filter viewing devices. It looks like they enjoyed this activity!
